From technical know-how to passion
GENIUS Putter is a brand of MODELLBAU MAYER GmbH, a company that has been a development service provider for the international automotive industry for over three decades.
After the managing partner Ernst G. Mayer had found golf late to his great passion, quickly matured the decision to use all his knowledge of design, technical development and construction, the mechanical production of tools, molds and fixtures, and the processing of carbon fibers and fabrics including surface finish for the development and production of unique golf putters.
From the beginning, the aim was not to copy any shapes that are now on the market a thousand times, but to develop a stand-alone design that reflects the extraordinary optical effects of carbon fiber fabrics in outstanding products.
So far, two different Mallet models have been created:

Our philosophy
In the beginning was the idea:
The unique look of carbon fibres is combined with a spectacular design. This results in breathtaking golf putters, whose sights inspire their owners with every putt. But the most beautiful design is worth little if the product disappoints in practice – which is excluded with a GENIUS putter.
Advertising slogans such as “significantly forgiving” or “30% more accurate putts” are deliberately dispensed with. Every golfer knows that the prerequisite for a good and accurate blow always lies with humans.
However, the GENIUS offers everything to create the best conditions: Three visor lines, maximum face balancing and the decisive impact mass form an optimal basis for this.

The production
GENIUS putters are mostly handmade in a manufactory. Only the aluminium inserts and the precise machining of the adhesive surfaces are carried out by means of CNC-controlled milling machines.

Customization options
GENIUS putter offer a variety of customization options:
In addition to the standard colors of the inscription, special requests can also be realized. Likewise, the design of the impact inserts (massive aluminum or aluminum with elastomer insert) can be individually selected in the available anodized colors.
The shafts are available straight or cranked – either in a chromed or black surface.
There are also numerous options for the grips. On request, any commercial grip can be mounted.

Individual paintwork
If technically possible, we put your special requests into practice with regard to the labeling – you would like a logo in a monochrome version at a striking point?
Your own signature, a clever saying, a personal dedication or the autograph of a golf professional at the bottom?
We are happy to check the feasibility and make you an individual offer.
In addition, individual graphics can be permanently attached to the bottom of the putter, e.g. B. Autographs of well-known golfers, your own signature, monochrome logos or a personal dedication – ideal for special gifts.
Individual strike inserts
When selecting the material of the impact inserts, you have the choice between two versions:
A continuous aluminium surface in different anodised colours with laser engraving.
Or a continuous aluminum surface in different anodized colors with centrally placed elastomer insert.
